Jaylen Brown's gf and Angel Reese react to Kyle Kuzma's partner Winnie Harlow's zebra print outfit at Celtics-Wizards game
Kyle Kuzma's partner Winnie Harlow stole the spotlight with her zebra print outfit during the Washington Wizards' season-opener against the defending champion Boston Celtics on Thursday. Among those who were left dazzled were Jaylen Brown's girlfriend Kysre Gondrezick and Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese.
Harlow, a fashion model, was courtside at Capital One Arena in Washington to catch Kuzma and the Wizards host the visiting Celtics. She was all glammed up in her zebra-inspired ensemble.
She shared photos from her day at the arena on Instagram, which she captioned with words of support for her man, writing:
"The Ying to your Yang. First game of the season."
Her post garnered plenty of likes and reactions, including from Gondrezick and Reese.
Former WNBA player Gondrezick had a one-word reaction, writing:
"Wow!"
Reese was equally impressed, saying:
"So fabbbb."
Unfortunately for Harlow, Kuzma's Wizards bowed down to the Celtics, 122-102. Her presence, however, has been constant since she and Kyle Kuzma started their relationship in 2020 amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Kyle Kuzma struggles against Celtics in season-opener
While Winnie Harlow was at courtside to support him, Kyle Kuzma found the going tough against the Boston Celtics in the Washington Wizards' 122-102 home loss on Thursday.
The one-time NBA champion played 28 minutes, scoring 12 points on 6-for-16 shooting while also missing all of his five attempts from 3-point territory. He had two rebounds and had an assist, a steal and a block, finishing the game with a minus-18 rating.
His underwhelming showing made it tough for the Wizards to keep pace with the Celtics, especially after keeping the game close in the opening quarter where they trailed by just a point, 33-32. From there, Washington was outscored by Boston 89-70 the rest of the way as they slumped to the defeat.
As Kyle Kuzma struggled, Jordan Poole and Jonas Valanciunas stepped up, scoring 26 and 18 points, respectively.
Kuzma led the Wizards in scoring last season with 22.2 points in 70 games. He also averaged 6.6 rebounds and 4.2 assists in 33 minutes.
Heading into this season, he expressed confidence that the Wizards would perform better after finishing last year with a 15-67 record.
He shared (via One Sports):
"I really love everybody on our team. I think we really have high-character guys. Talk about [rookie Alex] Sarr, talk about Bilal [Coulibaly], talk about JP (Poole). All these guys love basketball."
The Wizards next play on Saturday against the Cleveland Cavaliers at home before hitting the road for their next game on Monday against the Atlanta Hawks.
