Jayson Tatum's girlfriend Ella Mai drops emotional reaction to Kendrick Lamar’s producer scoring 5 Grammy nods

Celtics forward Jayson Tatum's girlfriend Ella Mai reacted to American rapper Kendrick Lamar’s producer Mustard being nominated for five Grammy Awards, taking to social media to comment on the news.

Mai reposted a post by Mustard on her Instagram story. The post showed the list of all the nominations that the American record producer was nominated for. Reposting on her IG story, Mai reacted with a holding back tears emoji.

Mustard has been nominated in five categories. He has been nominated for "Producer of the Year, Non-Classical," "Record of the Year," "Song of the Year," "Best Rap Song" and "Best Rap Performance." He was also the producer of Lamar's "Not Like Us."

Interestingly, Mustard, who is one of the best music producers of this generation, also signed Mai under his "10 Summers Records" record label which he founded in 2014. The other artists he signed under the same record label were Kiana Ledé and RJMrLA.

Mai is also a Grammy Award winner herself. In 2019, she won the Grammy for her song "Boo'd Up" in the "Best R&B Song" category.

Mai announces her new album on her 30th birthday

This year is turning out to be very special for Mai. The English singer became a mother for the first time in her life. Mai and her boyfriend Tatum welcomed their first child together earlier this year.

Just months after, she posed with her baby in a post-Olympic victory photo shoot, and Mai released her latest EP, "3." The Boo'd Up" singer took to her social media handles to give updates to her fans.

In her post on Instagram, Mai wrote a touching message for her fans in her announcements. She said that number 3 is one of her favorite numbers and she had also missed her fans.

Moreover, the picture in the post also stood out for her tattoo. Mai showed off her number "3" tattoo behind her left year. Interestingly, her reigning NBA champion boyfriend has the exact same tattoo.

Tatum was born on March 3, the third day of the third month of the year. Mai was born on Nov. 3. One of the songs in the EP is allegedly about Tatum and their relationship.

The couple has been dating since 2020. However, none of the parties have confirmed their relationship publicly. Mai has also been seen attending some of the Tatum's games.
