Jimmy Butler name-drops Damian Lillard after Camila Cabello's 'watch my little a*s' remark

Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler played a game of HORSE with singer Camila Cabello and name-dropped Damian Lillard in the middle of their game. They spent time together on the court for Complex as they shot some hoops and answered a few questions.

During Butler's winning reverse layup shot, the singer hyped herself up. Cabello was energized to try to make the shot count as she told the Heat forward to "watch my little a*s" before she made her move. Hilariously, the All-Star mentioned Lillard before the shot attempt.

"Like Dame did," Butler said after Cabello's remark (Timestamp: 17:30.)

In the end, Butler wrapped things up with a win. The Heat star also had a chance to learn more about the hit pop singer and her new album. The former 30th overall pick also mentioned that he's interested in writing songs in the future, which was a surprise for Cabello.

Naturally, the NBA star won the game of HORSE game, which led the singer to do a punishment. The two agreed to have Cabello do 1,000 push-ups, but the singer felt confident and added two more to the agreed limit.

Jimmy Butler is rumored to be a target by an East playoff team

As the 2024 NBA draft approaches on Wednesday night, teams have started to get ready to make moves for their roster. One of the teams that could make some noise this summer is the New York Knicks. They've already made it official that they are looking to contend next season by trading for Mikal Bridges on Tuesday.

They likely aren't done making moves as Butler is rumored to be one of their targets in the offseason. The Palm Beach Post's Marc Berman wrote about the Knicks showing interest in the six-time All-Star.

"Ironically, the Knicks reportedly have an eye on the potential Butler Sweepstakes," Berman wrote.

Butler's future in South Beach is unsure, although many would want to see the star remain with the organization.
