Joe Mazzulla's wife shares personal moment with family amidst Celtics title celebrations
Joe Mazzulla led his young Boston Celtics team to the franchise’s 18th title, most in the NBA history. Mazzulla’s wife Camai Roberson Mazzulla posted an appreciation post for her husband on her social media. The Mazzulla family was seen sharing their family moment after the title win.
In her Instagram post, Roberson Mazzulla posted a picture of Joe Mazzulla huddled up with his wife and his two children. All four were wearing the NBA championship cap while they gathered around to share the amazing family moment amidst the deafening crowd at the TD Garden.
Posting the picture, Mrs. Mazzulla captioned the post,
“The Glory is YOURS.”
In the next story, she reposted a post by the NBA on ESPN, which said that Mazzulla was the youngest coach to win the title since Celtics’ great Bill Russell. Roberson captioned the post with a line from "The Notebook", a 2004 movie.
“If you’re a bird, I’m a bird," she wrote.
This is perhaps the biggest moment for Joe Mazzulla and his wife because they share the same passion for sports. Before they had met, they were basketball and volleyball coaches. While Mazzulla coached the Glenville State University basketball team, Roberson was the head coach of the volleyball team.
The couple started dating in 2011 and then got married in 2014. Mazzulla and Roberson share two sons together, Michael Harden and Emmanuel Joseph Daniel Mazzulla.

Joe Mazzulla is the youngest coach in the NBA. At just age 35, there are a lot of players in the league who are older than the Celtics coach. At an age where even getting an assistant coach job is impossible in the NBA, Mazzulla led his team to the record title.
It is not an unlikely scenario that the young Celtics coach would still be in disbelief. Sharing the biggest moment of his life with him was his wife Camai Roberson. Reportedly, even long after the championship celebration, Mazzulla was seen strolling on the court hand-in-hand with his wife.
Mazzulla was seen showing his wife various spots in the arena. There is no clarity over the details of their conversation but it is clear that the couple were trying to soak it all in on the biggest day of their lives.
Joe Mazzulla has solidified his position as a head coach in the NBA. He led his young team to a championship for the first time since 2008 when Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett won their 17th title. He also told the press that he was going to take a break for some time now because he tore his meniscus in March.
