Jonathan Isaac shouts out Republican thinker Matt Walsh while making fun of anti-racist ideology

NBA player Jonathan Isaac gave a shout-out to Matt Walsh following the release of his documentary film "Am I Racist?" Walsh is a Republican thinker working for The Daily Wire.

In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Isaac shared that he recently finished watching Walsh's documentary that takes aim at the rising diversity, equity and inclusion movement. The Orlando Magic defensive stalwart found the film hilarious and made fun of "anti-racist ideologies."

"Gotta take the hit and shoutout the @realDailyWire film “AM I Racist” 🙆🏾‍♂️🤣 we can agree that racism is a terrible evil that still exists in the hearts of people of every shade AND laugh at the lunacy of many modern anti racism folks and ideologies! Let your hair down and go laugh lol white, black, and inbetween. They did a good job! @MattWalshBlog," Isaac tweeted.

Jonathan Isaac is a member of the Republican party and has been pretty vocal about his battle with the "woke movement." Isaac stirred controversy inside the NBA bubble when he was the only player who stood up during the national anthem.

The Orlando Magic forward did not agree with the Black Lives Matter movement but acknowledged that Black lives matter and he'll do everything to support it. He's also one of several handful NBA players who refused to get vaccinated during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"I believe that Black lives matter. A lot went into my decision. ... It's my thought that kneeling or wearing a 'Black Lives Matter' t-shirt don't go hand in hand with supporting black lives. ... I feel like Black lives are supported through the gospel, all lives are supported through the gospel. And we all have things that we do wrong and sometimes it gets to a place of pointing fingers about who's wrong is worse," Issac said at the time. [H/T Orlando Pinstriped Post]

To stamp his fight against the "woke movement," Jonathan Isaac launched his clothing brand called UNITUS last year. It's a value-based Christian apparel company that aims to make positive changes in the world by empowering people.

"When we do give our money to companies that don't support our values, we're cosigning their message. So, what I wanted to do was give Americans, freedom-loving Americans, faith-loving Americans the option to buy with their values," Isaac told Fox News last year.

UNITUS offers a variety of apparel such as T-shirts, hoodies, sweatpants, sweatshorts and crewnecks. The brand is also responsible for Isaac's signature shoes called "Judah," which is his middle name.
