Josh Hart reconsiders Halloween ideas after Knicks trade Donte DiVincenzo: "We don't have four anymore"

New York Knicks forward Josh Hart shared on Thursday's "Roommates Show" that he and his former college teammates were organizing a Halloween activity. Unfortunately, the Knicks traded away the fourth member of their brotherhood, Donte DiVincenzo, to the Minnesota Timberwolves. DiVincenzo was part of the trade that helped New York acquire All-Star center Karl-Anthony Towns.

The two-way guard and Julius Randle were shipped to Minnesota, ruining the chance to have all four former Villanova teammates in one team. Over the summer, the Knicks traded for Mikal Bridges, teasing the quartet. Fans hoped to see Jalen Brunson, Hart, Bridges and DiVincenzo share the court, much like they did in college.

With Halloween close by, Hart said he is reconsidering dressing up with his closest friends.

If we didn't trade Donte we could've done the four musketeers or Ghostbusters, but we don't have four anymore," Hart said.

Matt Hillman, their co-host on the show, didn't want the NBA star to be discouraged for the upcoming holiday. Hillman suggested that they could still be a quartet, with Towns taking over the place of DiVincenzo for Halloween.

"I mean, okay. But we also have to have outfits that fit. He won't fit a Ghostbusters outfit," the Knicks forward replied.

DiVincenzo became a favorite among the fans last season. He had one of his best seasons with the Knicks as their sixth man. The guard played in 81 games, averaging 15.5 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.7 assists.

Josh Hart dressed up as himself for Halloween

In the latest episode of their podcast, Josh Hart revealed his worst costume idea. Hart said he didn't feel like trying during high school and ultimately dressing up as himself.

"My worst was probably when I just didn't feel like dressing up and they be like, 'Who are you?' and I'm like, 'I'm Josh Hart.' But I'm like in high school," Hart said. 25:25
"My best was probably Dwight Schrute ... that was either my first or second year in the league. That was probably my best one."

When with the LA Lakers, Hart dressed up as Dwight Schrute, the iconic character from "The Office." The forward got the details of the look and wore a suit with a mustard shirt. He also carried a briefcase and wore glasses with big lenses.

The Knicks aren't scheduled to play this Halloween, so fans won't see what Hart's costume will be like on the holiday.
