J.R. Smith plays golf for North Carolina A&T.
While Smith is unlikely to join Woods on the PGA tour, anyone who plays golf can benefit from playing with the star.
As an NBA player who has played with some of the greatest basketball players of the modern day, he understands how that can benefit his golf game.
With Tiger Woods back to playing competitively, the opportunity for J.R. Smith to play a few rounds with him is more realistic.
