While she did not affirm it, Taurasi hinted that she may retire from the WNBA after the conclusion of the ongoing season. Taurasi further hinted at her retirement as she addressed the Mercury crowd after their game against the Seattle Storm on Thursday, which could be the last game she plays on their home court.

Holiday is a former U.S. soccer star, and she met Jrue when they were both student-athletes at UCLA in 2008. The couple got married in 2013 and have two children together, their 8-year-old daughter Jrue Tyler and 4-year-old son Hendrix.

LeBron James has always maintained a big stance on giving back to the community and has operated his philanthropic work through the LeBron James Family Foundation. The $41 million donation is pledged toward providing students of his hometown of Akron, Ohio, with full scholarships to the University of Akron when they graduate high school.

Meanwhile, Holiday and his wife have also done their part of giving back as they started the Jrue and Lauren Holiday Social Impact Fund in 2020. They donated the entirety of the $5.3 million that Jrue earned during his time in the NBA bubble to meaningfully address the racial and socioeconomic crises that were worsened by the pandemic.

The donation was aimed at launching a social impact fund that provides grants and support to Black-owned businesses and nonprofits in underserved communities. Since its inception, JLH has extended funding and support to over 150 charities and companies.
