Julius Randle's wife Kendra Randle gets emotional as son Kyden follows in T'Wolves star's footsteps at AAU tryouts

Julius Randle's eldest child, his son Kyden Randle, is already following his father's footsteps. The son of the Minnesota Timberwolves star took his first step towards making a career out of basketball by participating in AAU tryouts in the presence of his mother Kendra Randle.

The wife of the Timberwolves star posted a video of her son at the AAU tryouts. Watching the video, it was pretty clear that Kyden lacks no talent for basketball at his age. In the video, he showed off his behind-the-back dribble as well as his smooth jumper.

Kyden was wearing his father's Timberwolves #30 jersey for the occasion. It was an emotional moment for Kendra, watching her son follow in his father's footsteps.

"AAU tryouts," she wrote with a face trying to hold tears emoji.

Kyden's full name is Kyden Jay Randle and he was born before Kendra and Julius got married. Born on December 23, 2016, Kyden will turn eight next month.

Randle and his wife share another son, Jaycey. He was born on Oct. 16, 2021. Both children are often seen with their mother attending Julius Randle's games.

Although Julius Randle and his wife Kendra didn't want to embarrass their eldest son Kyden, they somehow left him red-faced with a courtside kissing moment.

Kendra Randle posted a hilarious picture of her son on her social media profile. In the picture, Kendra was sharing a kiss with her Timberwolves star husband after the win against the Toronto Raptors on October 26. However, it was her son's reaction to the moment that left everyone giggling.

In the picture, as Kendra and Julius are kissing, Kyden has his head turned towards the other side, with a smile, as he shifts his focus on the popcorn he is eating.

Kendra posted the picture on her Instagram story and hilariously captioned the post:

"That smile," followed by laughing and blue heart emojis.

According to People, Julius Randle and Kendra have been dating each other since they both attended the University of Kentucky. They met at Kendra's birthday party before Randle joined the NBA.

After several years of dating, the couple got engaged in 2016 when the NBA star proposed to her in Santorini, Greece. Just a year later, they got married at The Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach
