Jusuf Nurkic debunks Shaquille O'Neal's false narrative about Draymond Green feud: "People be making sh*t up"

NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal recently released the third episode of The Big Podcast, and in it, he talked about one of the biggest issues to recently occur in the NBA. The infamous punch that Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green threw at Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkic's face, leading to a 12-game suspension for the former.

This incident may be a career-altering moment for Draymond, who displayed a side of him that is extremely different from the tough guy persona that he has displayed throughout his career.

As for Nurkic, he expressed concern for the Warriors star during the postgame coverage immediately after the game but life went on as normal for him. However, Shaq's recent comments on the incident caused him to speak up once again.

"Lmao first i never said that!! People be making s*** up" Nurkic said in a post on X. "Shaqilovic I'm not from here, I'm not losing money and nobody fighting in this NBA..."

Shaquille O'Neal said that Jusuf Nurkic wanted to press charges against Draymond Green for Dec. 12, 2023 incident

In the most recent episode of The Big Podcast, Shaquille O'Neal said that Jusuf Nurkic was looking to press charges against Draymond Green because of the punch, citing NBC Sports as his source while also stating that he was unsure if these facts are true or not.

After sharing this news, Shaq had some comments for the Bosnian Center. Here is what Shaq had to say about him.

"Per NBC Sports, I don't know if it's true or not but I want to address it," Shaq said. "Jusuf Nurkic is talking about pressing charges against Draymond Green."

The big man then proceeded to name several incidents of physical altercations that happened on an NBA court, including when Charles Barkley threw a ball at him, and asked rhetorically if anyone ever pressed any charges.

"So for you to say, even think about saying you're pressing charges, you're soft," Shaq added, targetting Nurkic. "This is something I would tell you to your face if I ever saw you. You can't press charges, you just gotta get your big ass up and hit somebody back. How about that, with your big soft ass?"

One thing to note is that Shaq did say that he was unsure if the claims that Nurkic wanted to press charges were true or not and with these statements being debunked by the Phoenix Suns Center himself, some fans might be waiting to see if Shaq would have something further to say or if it could finally be laid to rest, especially now that Draymond is back in action.
