Kai Cenat calls out NBA 2K’s Ronnie for allegedly scamming him on game avatar

Famed streamer Kai Cenat wasn't happy with NBA 2K's production after they promised to use his avatar. During his recent stream, Cenat spoke about attending a 2K event, where he was scanned for his avatar. However, the results weren't what he expected.

According to Cenat, he flew to Las Vegas to do his player scans for the video game and cut some promo work.

"Ronnie, they got me to fly out to Vegas," Cenat started. "I missed a day of shooting, I promo the f**k out of his game, I did his little - I went to 2K events, I'm chopping it up with n****s I don't know. He do a podcast s**t for his TikTok content. They sit me down, they scanned me, there's like a hundred cameras. A hundred cameras scanning my tattoos, my skin, my blackness, my locs. Guy said that i was in 2k24.

Ronnie 2K assured Cenat his avatar in the upcoming game during their talk. Given that the internet personality wasn't part of NBA 2K24, he expected to be featured on 2K25. At the end, Cenat showed his player scan and shared that the player scan that the game produced looked slightly off.

The streamer was also disappointed that he wasn't in 2K24 after he was promised that his avatar would be available.

The Digital Marketing director for 2K Games, defended his work in the replies on social media.

"He actually changed his hair and it didn’t look good in our game so we had to rework it. It’s pretty close to ready I believe," Ronnie 2K said.
