Karl-Anthony Towns' GF Jordyn Woods reacts to warm reunion with Anthony Edwards' GF Jeanine Robel ahead of Timberwolves vs Knicks game
Karl-Anthony Towns and the New York Knicks will visit the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday. This will be KAT's first game back since his trade before the NBA media day in September. His fiancée, Jordyn Woods, who was just reunited with Anthony Edwards' girlfriend, Jeanine Robel, is accompanying him on the trip.
The two hung out together for the first time and posted updates on their Instagram stories. Robel posted on her account, tagging Towns' girlfriend as they met in Minnesota.
“Wouldn’t be game day if we ain’t come to our favorite morning spot,” Robel posted.
With the big man back in town, the Wolves organization will reportedly show two video tributes for their former star.

Karl-Anthony Towns posted a video tribute to the Minnesota community ahead of his return
While he's not a member of the Wolves anymore, Karl-Anthony Towns still hasn't forgotten to reach out to Minnesota's community. Upon his return, the four-time All-Star posted a video on his X (formerly Twitter) account, showing his love for the city that drafted him.
“I always try to find ways I could help the community,” KAT said. “And everything here, y’all have given me so much. So, the least I could do is give back.”
Towns was traded by the Wolves before media day in exchange for Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo.
The Dominican big man spent nine seasons in Minnesota, averaging 22.9 points, 10.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists. In his first season with the team, he averaged 18.3 ppg and 10.5 rpg, earning the Rookie of the Year award.
He became a star with the Wolves, selected four times for the All-Star squad. Additionally, KAT was selected to the All-NBA team twice.
Towns also led the team to the postseason four times. The big man and the squad failed to get past the first round in his first three playoff outings. However, things changed during the 2024 NBA playoffs as he helped the team reach the Western Conference finals. It was his first conference finals appearance and averaged 19.6 ppg, 8.4 rpg and 2.2 assists in five games against the Dallas Mavericks.
In his return to Minnesota, he spoke to the media about feeling "nostalgic."
“I was here nine years. That’s a long time. I called this place home,” Towns said. “To be back here, to be able to sleep in my house one more time, it was really a nostalgic feeling.”
Now with the Knicks, Towns is having one of the best years of his career. He's averaging 24.8 ppg, a league-leading 13.9 rpg and 3.3 apg.
