Karl-Anthony Towns' girlfriend Jordyn Woods drops 1-word reaction on Anthony Edwards' partner Jeanine Robel's all-black attire
Karl-Anthony Towns' girlfriend Jordyn Woods dropped a one-word reaction to his former teammate Anthony Edwards' partner Jeanine Robel's Instagram post on Sunday. The post featured Robel rocking an all-black outfit as she attended the Minnesota Timberwolves' home matchup against the Toronto Raptors along with her daughter, Aislynn.
"Gorgeous 😍" Woods commented on the post.
With his girlfriend and his seven-month-old daughter watching from the sidelines, Anthony Edwards recorded 24 points, six rebounds, four assists, one steal and a block as the Timberwolves defeated the Raptors 112-101 to go 2-1 for the season.
The 23-year-old made NBA history in the game by becoming the youngest player to record 800 threes-pointers and also crossed the 7000-point mark in his career.
Jeanine Robel is a social media influencer with over 209k followers on Instagram. Edwards and Robel made their relationship public in 2020, the same year the Timberwolves drafted the two-time NBA All-Star first overall. The couple welcomed their first child together, their daughter, Aislynn, in March.
Anthony Edwards' girlfriend Jeanine Robel goes all-out for the Timberwolves' star with a customized tribute
Currently playing in his fifth season in the NBA, Anthony Edwards' girlfriend, Jeanine Robel, made sure that the Timberwolves star enters the season on a special note. As seen in a series of snaps that she shared on Instagram last week, Robel arranged a small celebration to mark the start of Edwards' fifth year in the league.
Robel arranged for a decoration that featured 'YR 5' spelled out with balloons along with more Timberwolves' color-themed balloons. She also arranged for customized cookies that resembled Edwards' jersey, a basketball and the Timberwolves' logo.
Anthony Edwards is coming off his best season in the league, both individually and as a team, after he led the Timberwolves to the Conference finals last season. He seems determined to put up another strong performance this season.
During his interview at the Timberwolves' Media Day earlier this month, Edwards announced his individual goals for the season, highlighting that he's aiming for the NBA MVP award.
"Yeah, hell yeah, for sure, no question. And that's [MVP] what I'm going for, man. At this point, ain't nothing else to go for," Edwards said.
In three games this season, Edwards has averaged 27.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 3.7 assists while shooting 41.4% from the field, including 37.5% from beyond the arc.
