The New York Knicks acquired Karl-Anthony Towns in a trade with the New York Knicks. News of the trade broke last week, with Towns posting his speechless reaction on X.
The deal was finalized and announced on Wednesday. Towns' girlfriend, Jordyn Woods, took to Instagram to show off her new Knicks gear with a post on Thursday afternoon.
Woods, who has over 12 million followers, captioned her post with an orange heart emoji. She's a successful entrepreneur, serving as the founder and CEO of Woods By Jordyn, a successful clothing line with her namesake, and FrstPlace, a fitness app.
Jordyn Woods and Karl-Anthony Towns went public with their relationship in May 2020.
The New York Knicks bolstered their championship core with the addition of Karl-Anthony Towns. The Knicks sent Julius Randle, Donte DiVincenzo, Keita Bates-Diop and a first-round pick to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Karl-Anthony Towns is set to enter his 10th season in the NBA. The four-time NBA All-Star is coming off a season averaging 21.8 points, 8.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists, shooting 50.4%, including 41.6% from three-point range.
The Knicks lose a key piece in Julius Randle but gain a sharp-shooting big man who bolsters their top-end talent. Sportsbooks moved the Knicks up the NBA title odds list following the trade from +900 to +700.
