Karl-Anthony Towns issues NSFW response to Josh Hart’s “co-workers” claim amid hilarious banter
Josh Hart issued a hilarious statement for his teammates Karl-Anthony Towns and Jalen Brunson. The New York Knicks player made a post on X, formerly known as "Twitter," saying that he wasn't their teammate or friend today, and they were just his coworkers.
"We aren’t friends nor teammates today. We are just coworkers. I don’t like yall, yall don’t like me @jalenbrunson1 @KarlTowns," Hart wrote in his Tweet.
Hart's post got a quick NSFW response from Karl-Anthony Towns. The Knicks big man hilariously responded with a middle finger emoji. There has been no response from Jalen Brunson so far.
"🖕🏽."
Towns is new to the New York Knicks, but the friendly banter with his teammates is only going to make him happier with the team.
Towns are having one of the best seasons of his career with the Knicks. He has been leading the team on both ends of the floor. Not only is he one of the top players in shooting efficiency, but he is also leading the league in rebounding.
Karl-Anthony Towns says he was "stunned" after being traded to the Knicks
Karl-Anthony Towns was traded to the New York Knicks in October, just two days before the Minnesota Timberwolves' training camp started. Unable to process the news, Towns kept silent and quickly traveled to New York to join his team.
On Thursday, when the Timberwolves hosted Towns and the Knicks, he balled out. Towns filled the stat sheet in a 133-107 win over his former team. He finished with 32 points, 20 rebounds, six assists, and two steals.
After the game, when Towns was asked about the trade, he said he was simply stunned and still couldn't believe he plays for a different team.
"There was no part of me that was willing to leave. And life had a different path for me. I was stunned. I’m still stunned I’m in a different jersey," Towns said.
After 28 games in the 2024-25 season, the Knicks have an 18-10 record and the third seed in the Eastern Conference. While the Knicks still need more to convincingly beat the Boston Celtics, Towns' presence has given enough indication that they pose a significant threat to the defending champions.
Karl-Anthony Towns are averaging the highest minutes in the last seven seasons. In 26 games this season, the four-time All-Star is averaging 24.5 points while shooting 53.0% from the field and 45.9% from the 3-point line.
The former Timberwolves player has also played excellent on the defensive end of the floor. He is leading the league in rebounds at 14.0 per game. He is also averaging 0.9 steals and 1.0 blocks per game.
With KAT on their roster, the Knicks have a legitimate chance to beat the Celtics, although it is confusing why nobody is talking about the Cleveland Cavaliers being a real threat.
