"Kevin Durant getting cooked": Tyrese Haliburton trolls Suns star as Anthony Edwards joins duo to test out 'Call of Duty Black Ops 6' before release

Kevin Durant was trolled by Tyrese Haliburton after he and Anthony Edwards had the chance to test out one of the most-anticipated video games. Durant, Haliburton and Edwards are representing Team USA in Paris where they hope to win another gold medal. However, they have found time to engage in different activities.

Sports media company Overtime shared a couple of pictures of the Indiana Pacers and Minnesota Timberwolves stars playing 'Call of Duty Black Ops 6' on Instagram. Kevin Durant, a known fan of the video game, tested the game out too, but according to Haliburton, he wasn't doing so well.

"1st on #blacksops6," Edwards wrote in his Instagram story.

Durant shared a story calling out Tyrese Haliburton.

"Sliding on my opp @tyresehaliburton in #blackops6 @callofduty," Durant captioned the post.

Haliburton had a strong comeback against the two-time NBA champion, saying he was 'getting cooked' during their runs.

"@easymoneysniper was getting cooked," Haliburton wrote in his Instagram story.

Black Ops has become one of the most popular versions of the Call of Duty franchise. Although they haven't made any comments about the newest offering, the three NBA stars looked focused on the game.

Kevin Durant has maintained a close relationship with this franchise and was even featured as an Operator skin in 'Modern Warfare 2' and 'Warzone 2.0' last year. Players could purchase Durant's appearance as part of a limited-time story bundle that made a lot of noise on social media.

Kevin Durant discusses Jayson Tatum, Joel Embiid's reactions to getting DNPs during Olympic games

The start of the 2024 Paris Olympic basketball tournament hasn't been free of outrage for Team USA. With the stars they have in their squad and the underwhelming results in the buildup to the mega-event, game-time was naturally a topic of contention among experts.

Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics and Tyrese Haliburton clocked zero minutes against Serbia. Joel Embiid played the exact number of minutes against South Sudan. Kevin Durant spoke about these situations, saying that neither Tatum nor Embiid complained after getting no playing time.

"Last game, we had a champion and an all-NBA guy not play any minutes, and tonight we had an MVP not play any minutes. They didn’t complain. We had guys who stepped up and filled those roles perfectly," Durant said. [H/T Ben Golliver of the Washington Post].

Tatum reportedly called this a 'humbling experience' while Embiid said he doesn't mind taking a back seat and letting other stars take the wheel to try to lead Team USA to the promised land. Kevin Durant has had a terrific start to the season, leading it in scoring with 23 points against Serbia and then dropping 14 against South Sudan.
