Kevin Durant reserves special 2-word praise to LSU star Mikaylah Williams after dominant outingĀ

Kevin Durant expressed his thoughts on women's college basketball star Mikaylah Williams. Mikaylah and the LSU Tigers went up against the Stanford Cardinal on Thursday wherein the young star had an impeccable outing.

Williams led the Tigers to a 94-88 victory over Cardinal by nearly notching a double-double with 32 points and nine rebounds. She also shot an efficient 66.6% from the field.

Given the magnitude of her performance, she caught the attention of Phoenix Suns superstar Kevin Durant. KD went on social media to repost highlights of her performance on X, formerly Twitter.

Durant captioned it with:

"Everything pure."

Durant is also one of the most lethal shooters in the NBA. KD knows a sweet shooting stroke when he sees one and Mikaylah Williams' shots caught his attention.

After returning from an injury to face the LA Lakers on November 26, Kevin Durant suffered another injury that will keep him out of the lineup for at least a week. Durant sprained his ankle against the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday. This resulted in his early exit from the game, clocking in only 16 minutes of play.

Due to these setbacks, the Phoenix Suns might drop further in the Western Conference. As of this writing, the Suns have a 12-9 record and are sitting in seventh place.

They lost to the New Orleans Pelicans with Durant out of the lineup due to his ankle injury. However, Phoenix still has Devin Booker and Bradley Beal to rely on.

Looking at Kevin Durant's performances so far this season, he's averaging 25.8 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.5 blocks per game. The good news is, Durant is still in his purest form.

However, given that the Suns are consistently missing a versatile player such as himself on the hardwood, it's likely to affect the team's performance in the long run.

It's also worth noting that if Durant's re-evaluation within the week turns out otherwise, there's a chance that he might not be able to play for a longer period.
