Kevin Gates and Brittany Renner spotted courtside days after rapper's viral criticism of LeBron James' wife Savannah James

Rapper Kevin Gates and internet personality Brittany Renner were spotted courtside during the second game of the first-round playoff series between the Minnesota Timberwolves and LeBron James' LA Lakers on Tuesday.

Gates made headlines with his critical comments about James' wife, Savannah, last week. On April 19, Gates called out Savannah for the way she looks at LeBron.

"I don't like the way Savannah look at LeBron," Kevin said in an Instagram video.

"I like the way them white women look at LeBron," he added. "As soon as he walked out there, they just be like, 'Oh oh oh.'"

Gates suggested he wouldn't trade places with the four-time MVP because of Savannah.

LeBron replied to his comments on social media.

"Kings don't concern themselves with the opinions of peasants," LeBron captioned an April 20 Instagram post. "Where to next Queen?!?! Let's get it!"

However, this didn't faze Gates, who decided to make an appearance at James' playoff game against the Timberwolves.

LeBron James didn't pay heed to Kevin Gates' presence. The Lakers star stayed locked in as he pursued a win for the team and tied the series 1-1. James had 21 points, 11 rebounds, seven assists, one steal and one block in 40 minutes. He didn't have an efficient shooting game, but he was critical to the team's defense as the Lakers held the Timberwolves to only 85 points on 38.0% shooting.
