"Kevin Heurter, right now, he's playing like Klay, Steph” - Kevin Durant quite impressed with Sacramento Kings

Kevin Durant had to take note of the Sacramento Kings and their recent surge in performances.

Speaking about the Kings on the "Boardroom", Durant also gave props to Kings sharpshooter Kevin Huerter for his tremendous form this season.

The Sacramento Kings have looked like one of the best offensive teams in the month of November. Having been named the "Beam Team", Sacramento is firing on all cylinders with their high-octane offense.

Led by fiery point guard in De'Aaron Fox, the Kings are served by some talented and reliable players as well. With veterans such as Domantas Sabonis and Harrison Barnes, the Kings have presented an interesting roster.

However, KD took note of one player in particular when he joined "Boardroom".

The Kings landed sharpshooting guard Kevin Huerter from the Atlanta Hawks in the offseason. After a rather successful stint with the Hawks, Huerter has burst onto the scene in Sacramento.

Huerter has been lighting it up this season and Durant couldn't help but take note of this.

While discussing the Sacramento Kings, Durant had to show props to Huerter. Durant started by talking about the difficulties involved in guarding the Kings in the pick-and-roll.

On this note, he brought up the task of guarding Huerter off the switch.

"Kevin Heurter, right now, he's playing like Klay, Steph. The way he's coming off the hand-off and shooting the basketball right now.
"If you're not a basketball fan and locked in on the league, you gotta watch how Kevin Heurter is shooting this ball right now.
"When you go to scout and you get all these stats and everybody just seems way better than what they are right now. But Kevin Huerter shoots seven threes a game and they're all like 50%.
"When you hear that and then you watch the clips and film with the shots he's shooting, it's just like, 'Oh sh*t, we're in for a long night."

KD continued by giving props to the rest of the team as well. With talented young players such as De'Aaron Fox, Harrison Barnes and a gifted young rookie in Keegan Murray, Sacramento look like an interesting side to follow.

Kevin Huerter and the Sacramento Kings are on fire

Kevin Durant's take on the Sacramento Kings comes from a place of personal experience. The Kings faced off against the Brooklyn Nets on November 15th and the game resulted in a resounding win for the young Kings squad.

Sacramento handed Brooklyn a handy 121-153 loss. Looking at the scoreline, it is evident that neither team played a whole lot of defense. However, the Kings have appeared virtually unstoppable as a unit.

The "Beam Team" has displayed an impressive flair for the offensive side of the ball. Whether this is in the form of their tight shooting from beyond the arc or their overall efficiency, the Kings look hard to stop.

Having won seven games in a row, the young Sacramento team are undoubtedly on fire. With a head full of steam and ridiculous momentum on their side, the Kings will continue their rise as they head into their next game against the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday.
