Kiyan Anthony shares his dream of becoming a Jordan athlete
Every athlete's dream is to represent their favorite sporting brands once they make it to the pros. For Kiyan Anthony, it's no different as he shared his dream of becoming a representative for Jordan Brand. His father, Melo, was the first signature athlete of the athletic brand.
In his 19 year career in the league, Melo has only represented Jordan and stayed loyal until his retirement. Because of this, Kiyan watched his father being a star for the company and shared his dreams of one day being signed to them.
A group of aspiring basketball players featuring Kiyan and LeBron James' second born son, Bryce James, were interviewed by Bleacher Report. Each athlete was asked about their dream NIL (name, image, and likeness) deals. Anthony shared that he wants to have a deal with the company that has worked closely with his father.
"I want an NIL deal with Jordan, ’cause my pops signed with Jordan. I feel like that will be fire," Kiyan shared.
Since the former Syracuse star has been with Jordan his entire professional career, securing his son in an NIL deal could happen. Kiyan Anthony has shown brilliance on the court and that might get the attention of the Jordan brand.
