Knicks star Josh Hart jibes at $4 billion Kim Kardashian-owned brand for wife's complaints
New York Knicks star Josh Hart might have to take a page out of Donovan Mitchell's book and do some modeling for Kim Kardashian's SKIMS brand. With the brand, which is valued at $4 billion (Forbes), being wildly popular, Hart's wife Shannon Phillips has apparently been having a hard time purchasing products before they sell out.
In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Hart mentioned his wife complains that everything sells out too fast.
"I swear every new Skims drop my wife complains about everything selling out too fast"
Given that, Hart may need to do a commercial shoot for SKIMS just like Donovan Mitchell did so that he can get the hookup for his wife.
SKIMS has been the official underwear partner of the NBA and WNBA for over a year now. Last October, the brand announced a multi-year deal with the NBA. Since then, it has launched a number of commercials using players from the NBA and WNBA to promote the brand.
Josh Hart's wife might not be thrilled with SKIMS selling out, but Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau isn't thrilled with Josh Hart
On Saturday, the Knicks fell 120-111 to the Detroit Pistons at home. Hart racked up 17 points, six rebounds and three assists in 39 minutes before getting ejected late after accruing his second technical foul.
After the game, Tom Thibodeau spoke to media members about Hart.
“Josh plays on emotion, which is great, but there’s a fine line. Can’t have that in fourth quarter.”
While Thibodeau might not have been happy with the situation, Hart was left wondering what exactly he did to warrant a technical.
After the game, he spoke with media members about the situation. Hart wasn't happy with how the officials treated Cade Cunningham, who Hart alleged walked up to a ref and cursed without getting a tech.
The two teams will face one another two more times before the end of the season: Jan. 13 and Apr. 10.
