Kristaps Porzingis Injury Update ahead of Game 4 vs. Pacers

Kristaps Porzingis is ruled out for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals. The Celtics announced Sunday that the Latvian international will remain sidelined.

As per ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Celtics big man could have made a return for Game 4 but the franchise thinks there is no need for it. According to a new report, now that the Celtics are 3-0 in the series, they will focus on their big man having a complete recovery before bringing him back on the court.

The Celtics have only one game to win before they punch their ticket to the NBA Finals. If they sweep the Pacers in Game 4, they will have an extended break to rest Porzingis, giving him more time to be ready for the most important series of the season.

What happened to Kristaps Porzingis?

However, soon that pain became unbearable and he signalled for substitution. Porzingis left the court limping, and it was revealed that he had strained his calf.
