Kyle Kuzma calls out Skip Bayless for "insensitive things he said over the years" after comments on Damar Hamlin's situation

FS1's Skip Bayless received a wave of backlash for a tweet after Buffalo Bills player Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field during the Monday Night Football game.

No doubt the NFL is considering postponing the rest of this game - but how? This late in the season, a game of this magnitude is crucial to the regular-season outcome ... which suddenly seems so irrelevant.

Among those who spoke out against him for not being more sensitive was Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma. He questioned why Bayless has never been fired for any of the outlandish things he has said over the years.

The Monday Night Football game – a showdown between the Bills and the Cincinnati Bengals – was suspended after Hamlin received medical attention and had to be taken by an ambulance to a local hospital. While Bayless said he thought the game should not have continued, many, including scores of pro athletes like Kuzma, thought the veteran analyst went too far in his tweet.

Bayless wondered how the game could be suspended when it was so crucial to records and playoff seeding. With the tweet appearing before the NFL suspended the game, Bayless was attacked for not being more sensitive to what just happened.

How come there is no repercussions for any of Skip Bayless’s insensitive things that he has said over the years?? Hmmmm….

After seeing how people responded to his first tweet, Bayless tweeted again. He said nothing is more important than Damar Hamlin's health and safety.

"Nothing is more important than that young man's health. That was the point of my last tweet. I'm sorry if that was misunderstood but his health is all that matters. Again, everything else is irrelevant. I prayed for him & will continue to."

Skip Bayless has been known to take things too far

There is no denying that Skip Bayless has crossed the line on numerous occasions. This instance is a prime example. While the game was important for seeding, it was not a top priority at the time. When something so devastating occurs, player safety takes precedence over all else.

As Kyle Kuzma said, there are never any repercussions for Bayless no matter how far he takes things. Another instance when he took things way too far happened just a few weeks ago.

Before sitting across the table from Bayless on "Undisputed," Shannon Sharpe had a successful NFL career as a tight end. Sharpe made a comment about Tom Brady on air, and Bayless instantly made things personal when he didn't need to. He said Sharpe is jealous of Brady because he is a better player than he was.

No matter how close the two hosts are, some lines should never be crossed. Despite constantly crossing it, Bayless never seems to get hurt. Now that people are speaking out on the matter, things could change moving forward. Only time will tell.
