Mavericks vs Thunder recap: Kyrie Irving bounces back to beat OKC

The Dallas Mavericks beat the OKC Thunder on Friday night. It was a huge 106-98 victory for the Mavericks against the best team in the Western Conference.

Dallas snapped its three-game losing streaking while also ending OKC’s four-game winning streak. Taking care of business for Dallas was Kyrie Irving. After having a poor game against the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday, Irving redeemed himself against the Thunder.

He added 25 points, five assists, five rebounds and one steal to help take out the best team in the West. Supporting Kai were PJ Washington, Spencer Dinwiddie and Naji Marshall.

Washington consistently helped Irving in the first three quarters, posting 16 points, seven rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block. As for Diniwiddie and Marshall, they had a late game resurgence to help seal victory for the Mavericks in the fourth quarter.

Marshall had a double-double outing with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Meanwhile, Dinwiddie put up 16 points, four assists, three rebounds and two blocks.
