LA Clippers Injury Report: James Harden and 3 other starters in doubt for game against Lakers (Jan. 19)
The LA Clippers are set to face their cross-town rivals, the LA Lakers, in a Western Conference clash on Sunday. However, the Clippers are facing uncertainty regarding the availability of four key players, including James Harden.
Harden is listed as "questionable" on the injury report due to an illness. The former league MVP was active during the Clippers’ 118-89 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday.
Norman Powell is also questionable for the game, dealing with lower back soreness. The one-time NBA champion had a stellar performance against the Blazers, contributing 23 points on 7 of 12 shooting, including 3 of 4 from beyond the arc, along with five rebounds and three assists.
Ivica Zubac, who is battling the same issue as Powell, is likewise listed as questionable. Zubac played effectively against Portland, finishing with 10 points, eight rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks.
Kris Dunn is also questionable due to left knee soreness. He logged 19 minutes in the game against the Blazers.
On a brighter note, Kawhi Leonard is set to return against the Lakers after being held out of Thursday’s game in Portland, which was the second night of a back-to-back.
