La La Anthony developing TV show with Kim Kardashian
Apart from Ciara, La La Anthony also shares a friendship with media personality and businesswoman Kim Kardashian, which they’ve taken to another level by venturing into a television project together.
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter in August, the two, along with Black-ish creator Kenya Barris, are developing a show called Group Chat for Hulu. The show is based on Anthony's best-selling book, "The Love Playbook: Rules for Love, Sex, and Happiness."
"I'm incredibly interested in telling stories that are personal, complicated, relevant, from my own experiences and those familiar to me... I'm excited to dive into developing my first wave of television projects..." said Kardashian of her latest TV venture.
La La Anthony shares that same excitement for the show and can’t wait for it to launch.
"Kim Kardashian and I just signed a deal with Hulu to produce an all-star show called 'Group Chat,' which is based on our group chat. It's fun and really speaks to women at this stage in their lives, whether they're dealing with relationships, being a mom, friendships, or whatever else. All these topics are discussed in the group chat, and we're bringing those stories to life," La La said in a separate interview with Forbes.
In addition to the show being developed, La La is also set to appear in the new seasons of "The Chi" and "Black Mafia Family," both set for release next year
