La La Anthony sends reminder to countrymen ahead of US presidential elections
Aside from her decade-plus-long marriage to Carmelo Anthony, La La Anthony is most known for her career as an actress. On Tuesday, she used her platform to encourage people to exercise their right to vote in the 2024 US election.
Anthony has nearly 15 million followers on Instagram. With Americans getting ready to cast their ballot, she ensured to do her part. Anthony added a photo of Vice President Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in her story and asked people to cast their votes.
Over the past two decades, Anthony has appeared in countless movies, TV shows and music videos. Some of her most notable credits include "Power," "Unforgettable" and "Think Like a Man." Anthony has also appeared in music videos for artists such as Drake, Megan Thee Stallion and 50 Cent.
The longtime actress got engaged to the former NBA superstar in 2004, but they tied the knot in 2010. La La and Carmelo were together until 2021 when she filed for divorce. The couple has one child together, a son named Kiyan.

La La Anthony makes clear endorsement for Kamala Harris ahead of 2024 US election
In the post on her story, La La Anthony gives an idea of who she's voting for but doesn't come out and say it. That said, she made an elongated post earlier this week to let the world know which candidate she wants to win.
The longtime actress supports Democratic nominee Kamala Harris. On Monday Anthony posted a video encouraging people to vote for the current Vice President in the caption.
"I know politics can be overwhelming and confusing sometimes but it’s about understanding what’s important to you and your family.
VOTING IS YOUR POWER!!! Make your voices heard! VOTE! VOTE KAMALA HARRIS!!!"
Anthony, one of the many people with ties to the NBA, is backing Harris in the 2024 election. Among the others doing so is one of Carmelo Anthony's good friends, LA Lakers star LeBron James. Other notable names include Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban and CJ McCollum.
