Lakers target Zach LaVine's wife Hunter LaVine drops 2-word reaction to Blake Snell’s $182m Dodgers move
For several seasons now, the Los Angeles Lakers have been rumored as a potential landing spot for Zach LaVine. In addition to being represented by Klutch Sports, which is run by LeBron James' longtime friend Rich Paul, LaVine also played at UCLA and owns a house in California.
Given these connections, fans took notice when LaVine's wife, Hunter LaVine, reacted to MLB pitcher Blake Snell's $182 million deal with the LA Dodgers. On Wednesday, Snell announced that he was joining the Dodgers by simply sharing a photo of himself wearing a Dodgers jersey on Instagram.
Along with the photo, he simply wrote:
"LA"
The post caught the attention of Zach LaVine's wife, who wrote:
"HEY NEIGHBOR"
It appears that Blake Snell liked the comment amid plenty of rumors that LaVine could finally land with the Lakers this season.
While nothing has been finalized, Joe Crowley of The Chicago Sun-Times reported that the Bulls have both LaVine and Nikola Vucevic on the trade block.
While this isn't surprising, given that the team has tried to trade the two in the past, the Lakers are currently in need of perimeter shooting and another big man to pair with Anthony Davis. Perhaps this time will be different.
Zach LaVine and Donovan Mitchell both react to Blake Snell signing with the Dodgers
Zach LaVine's wife wasn't the only one to take note of Snell's post on Instagram. The two-time All-Star and two-time NBA Slam Dunk Contest champion also reacted to the news with a post on his Instagram story.
LaVine posted a series of money bag emojis over Snell's post, along with the caption:
"Happy for u dawg!!!!! @Snellzilla4"
Snell's post also caught the attention of Cleveland Cavaliers star Donovan Mitchell, who appeared to be joking about the move, posting several middle finger emojis along with the comment:
"Congrats bro!"
The post from Snell also caught the attention of some other notable figures like designer John Geiger along with former MLB player Jared Carrabis.
With LaVine and his wife both throwing their support behind Snell, only time will tell whether the standout guard lands in LA himself before the NBA Trade Deadline.
