LEAKED PHOTO: Anthony Edwards teams up with Justin Jefferson to recreate iconic Kevin Garnett & Randy Moss photo

Last week, there were rumblings on social media that Anthony Edwards could be part of the recreation of an iconic photo. On Monday afternoon, photos leaked online proved the rumors to be true.

During the start of their pro careers, Kevin Garnett and Randy Moss teamed up to document two of Minnesota's top young talents. And now, Edwards has collaborated with Justin Jefferson.

In the photos that have surfaced on social media, Anthony Edwards is donning Jefferson's jersey while posing with a football. Meanwhile, the Vikings wide receiver is in Edwards' throwback Minnesota Timberwolves jersey.

It's unclear if Edwards and Jefferson will do an exact copy of Garnett and Moss' iconic photo; however, this leak proves that their iteration will be officially released soon.

Reports suggest that the photos from this shoot weren't supposed to be released until fall. Fans have asked the two athletes to recreate the image and now have a sneak peek.

With the NFL season getting ready to start and NBA season just around the corner, the photos will likely officially surface closer to when both stars are back in the spotlight.

Fans react to Anthony Edwards linking up with Justin Jefferson for photoshoot

With fans asking for this collaboration to happen, the leak caused a lot of excitement. As soon as the photos hit social media, it was met with a flurry of reactions.

For the most part, fans expressed how excited they were to finally see this recreation happen.

Other fans brought up Anthony Edwards' past of playing football, jokingly saying he could play for the Minnesota Vikings right now.

"AE could go play WR for the Vikings Sunday if he wanted to." One fan said.
"I need to see Ant in a celebrity flag football game," another fan said.

Meanwhile, one fan tried to use this leak as a chance to predict the future. Seeing that Randy Moss went on to play for the New England Patriots and Kevin Garnett played for the Boston Celtics, it was suggested Edwards and Jefferson were now bound for Boston.

"So you’re saying both will end up in Boston?" Said one fan.

Since being first-round picks in 2020, both Edwards and Jefferson have emerged as players with superstar potential. Jefferson is an All-Pro who has won the Offensive Player of the Year award, and Edwards is fresh off leading the Timberwolves to the conference finals and helped Team USA win the gold medal in the Olympics.
