"LeBagless James": NBA fans roast LeBron James comparing his handles to Kendrick Perkins'

As LeBron James prepares to feature for Team USA at the 2024 Paris Olympics, footage of his practice session on Monday has hit social media, showing the four-time NBA champion displaying his handles. A post by BricksCenter on X, formerly Twitter, compared James' bag to former NBA big-man Kendrick Perkins', with footage of both dribbling side by side.

Reacting to the post, NBA fans roasted James for his allegedly weak bag while comparing his handles to Perkins'.

"Lebagless James," a fan tweeted.
"Most turnovers in nba history bag right there 😂," a fan tweeted.
"Not looking good for my Goat 😟😔😭," a fan tweeted.
"damn they let a nigga with a bag like this score 40k and counting 😭😂," a fan tweeted.
"this the cashnasty bag," a fan tweeted.
"Perkins out dribbled Lebron 😂," a fan tweeted.

LeBron James' bag may have played a part in him leading the NBA in all-time turnovers, but the same bag has also allowed him to become the all-time leading scorer in the league.

LeBron James says Team USA players "have to make sacrifices" to clinch gold at Olympics

Team USA's roster for the 2024 Paris Olympics features a star-studded group of players who have been in the spotlight for their respective teams in the NBA. When asked how the U.S. will play so much talent on Monday following their practice, LeBron James stressed that the team of superstars must make individual sacrifices to ensure the collective goal of clinching Olympic gold.

"It's a great problem to have, we have so many great players but we all have to make sacrifices," James said. "None of us are looking forward to going out and trying to carry the team like we sometimes have to do for our respective franchises.
"We want to play for each other. There's 11 other guys beside me that I want to play for and vice versa. Our only goal is to win a gold medal for Team USA."

LeBron James likely spoke about the need for team cohesion and individual sacrifice since he knows the taste of Olympic victory as well as the feeling of falling short. He won two Olympic Gold medals with Team USA in 2008 and 2012 and was also on the team that came third in the 2004 Olympics.

The upcoming Olympics could likely be James' last chance to play in the international tournament. The 39-year-old will look to win his third Olympic Gold along with the loaded Team USA roster this summer.
