The Lakers' lineup changes are helping them on the defensive end
Los Angeles announced before the games started that there will be a lineup change for their squad. The Lakers started Dennis Schroder and Rui Hachimura instead of D'Angelo Russell and Jared Vanderbilt. With their new lineup, they've made adjustments on the defensive end to slow down Jamal Murray.
Russell has been a non-factor for the Lakers in their series against Denver with his inability to be a good defender.
