LeBron James celebrates massive personal milestone outside of basketball
LeBron James was fired up after reaching a notable milestone off the court. The four-time NBA champion found a reason to celebrate before the start of the 2024-25 season in one of his favorite video games.
James, an avid fan of Madden, shared an Instagram story showing fans that he made it to the top 100 ranked players in the 2025 installment of the game. He wrote a short message alongside a picture of his TV showing the announcement.
"👑LFG 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️ Madden 25🏈," he captioned the post.
The LA Lakers superstar has been locked in for a couple of months now. He voiced his complaints about some of the changes EA Sports, the developers of the Madden franchise, made for this year's edition.
"Talk to me! Help me understand the changes Online H2H. Takes some of the fun away. - Seeing who you beat or lose to after game (record wise), knowing your record, seeing what team Your opponent is playing with before the game starts. Asking for the people," he posted in August.
That seems to be part of the past now, as LeBron James is playing at a high level and going up in the rankings right before the start of a new NBA season.
'He def on Bryce’s account': LeBron James' Madden rankings have fans in splits with surprising high scores
After LeBron James shared this story, plenty of fans reacted. Some claimed he was deceiving the audience, saying that he was using Bryce's account or even paying someone to play for him.
"He def on Bryce’s account," one fan said.
"Bro. How he got time?" another fan questioned.
"hes gotta be paying someone to play for him," another fan said.
Others hyped up James by saying he's a terrific Madden player and even mentioned Michael Jordan in the conversation.
"I wonder whats MJ record???? He cant even play games he probably is ranked top 1 in gambling addiction 😭😭😭," one fan said.
This is not the end of the journey for 'King James', as he can still climb positions in the rankings. It's unclear if he'll be able to play as much as he did before the start of the season. The Lakers have renewed hopes this season after a busy offseason, but fans will learn how things work out once the campaign tips off.
