LeBron James destroys 'no skill' narratives about him with IG post: "Pure brute strength"

A lot has been said about four-time NBA champion LeBron James during his honored career. Despite being one of the best players to lace them up, James has been on the receiving end of criticism more than once, as some people have tried to push inaccurate narratives about his game.

'King James' has kept the receipts and brought up one of them on Saturday, shutting down the narrative that he doesn't have skills. Instagram account 'lbjhistory' shared a compilation of James scoring over his opponents during the 2015 NBA playoffs.

The special part about the video is that he showed off his footwork, his handles, the way he creates separation from defenders and even his speed to get past opponents and spin before attacking the rim.

James shared the post on his Instagram story, calling out those who claimed he just ran over people his entire career.

"Pure brute strength and just running people over my whole career! No skill detected.🤦🏽‍♂️," James captioned the post.

LeBron James possesses a combination of speed and power that has made him a specimen. He often uses these traits to attack the rim and get things going, but besides that, he's improved his game over the years.

More notably, he became a decent 3-point shooter later in his career while adapting his game to the new era. At 39, he's remained relevant in the NBA, being a top-20 player in the association even in his late 30s. James has been so dominant that he's recorded more 50-point games (14) than single-digit games (8) in his regular-season career.

LeBron James sends a supportive message to Bronny amidst criticism

LeBron James will become the first father to play with his son in the NBA, something unthinkable before James arrived in the league. Bronny James was drafted by the LA Lakers as the No. 55 overall pick in the 2024 draft and is about to share touches with his father.

Knowing that a lot of people have tried to bring Bronny down, James took to Instagram to send an encouraging message to the young guard on Wednesday.

"Keep working kid and f**k all the hate/noise! You know your personal legend! THEY DONT KNOW YOU!" James wrote on his Instagram story.

The Lakers are not the top championship contenders this upcoming season, but if they somehow land a third star, LeBron James and Bronny could also become the first father-son duo to win a Larry O'Brien trophy while playing together.
