LeBron James dons $4,150 Louis Vuitton jacket ahead of debut alongside Bronny James
LeBron James showed up in style for the NBA's opening night on Tuesday. The LA Lakers are set to face the Minnesota Timberwolves to begin the season. While LeBron has technically already played with his son Bronny James during the preseason, opening night will serve as the official debut of the first-ever father-son duo in the league.
With an important milestone about to take place for the James family, LeBron was spotted wearing a Double-Breasted Jacquard Wool Jacket made by Louis Vuitton. According to Louis Vuitton's official website, the jacket costs $4,150.
LeBron completed the look with black pants and light brown shoes. He also wore sunglasses as well as some shiny accessories like necklaces, a bracelet, and pocket chains.
LeBron James and son Bronny set to make NBA history on opening night
The 2024-25 NBA season is here and the James family is about to make history. The matchup between the LA Lakers and Minnesota Timberwolves marks the official debut of Bronny James.
Similar to his father during his debut back in 2003, all eyes will be on Bronny as fans and analysts will observe how the young player will perform in his first game.
LeBron James played down the significance of when he gets to play an NBA regular season game with his son, noting it will happen eventually.
"Whenever it happens, it will happen," he said after Lakers shootaround Tuesday morning per ESPN. "If it's tonight or if it's down the line, whenever it happens, it will happen. But it's been a treat, and just in preseason, the practices, just every day ... just bringing him up to speed of what this professional life is all about and how to prepare every day as a professional."
During the NBA Summer League, Bronny James averaged 8.8 points and 3.5 rebounds. His preseason stats were also underwhelming as he averaged 4.1 points and 1.6 rebounds. But he did technically have a good showing against the Golden State Warriors in their final preseason game, putting up 17 points, four rebounds, and three steals in a 58-point blowout.
Aside from possibly playing his first regular season game with his son, LeBron James is set to make more history on Tuesday. He's entering his 22nd NBA season, tying Hall of Famer Vince Carter for the most in league history.
