LeBron James drops 3-word reaction to Patrick Mahomes voicing his awe for Aaron Rodgers
LeBron James reacted to Aaron Rodgers' Hail Mary pass by replying to Patrick Mahomes' post on social media. Rodgers hit the fourth Hail Mary pass of his career to end the second quarter of the New York Jets' 23-20 loss to the Buffalo Bills on Monday.
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Mahomes couldn't believe that Rodgers was able to successfully make another Hail Mary pass to add to his resume. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback asked his followers how the Jets QB did it again.
"Why is Aaron so good at that 😂😂😂," Mahomes asked.
LeBron James, a huge NFL fan, had the day off and watched the game. James replied to Patrick Mahomes with a three-word message:
"Right!! It's ridiculous! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣."
The one-time Super Bowl champion threw a 52-yard touchdown to Allen Lazard before halftime of Monday's game. It was Rodgers' first successful Hail Mary since 2017.
Rodgers first threw a Hail Mary in December 2015 against the Detroit Lions. He threw the game-winning touchdown to Richard Rodgers for the come-from-behind win. His second came a month later versus the Arizona Cardinals in the NFC divisional round.
The four-time NFL MVP had less than five seconds left in the game to force overtime. He completed a game-tying 41-yard touchdown to Jeff Janis, considered one of the best throws in league history.
While the game went to overtime, the Packers still lost the game and were eliminated. As for his third Hail Mary, it was in the playoffs in 2017 when Green Bay faced the New York Giants in the wild card round. Rodgers hit a touchdown pass from the midfield line at the end of the first half.
Who is LeBron James' pick to win the Super Bowl this season?
Speaking on a video via DraftKings, LeBron James revealed his picks for the Super Bowl this season. James believes that the Baltimore Ravens will finally get over the hump and the Kansas City Chiefs to make it to the Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers.
"I think it's Baltimore's chance finally," James said. "I got Baltimore coming out of the AFC. I'm not counting out Patty Mahomes, just like you never counted out Tom Brady, obviously. But I just feel like this could be Baltimore's year. They got Derrick Henry, man, one of my favorite players in the NFL. They brought him in and I got the Niners going back."
LeBron James has supported several NFL teams over the years, growing up as a Dallas Cowboys fan. James changed allegiance to the Cleveland Browns when he was in his second stint with the Cavs before showing his love for the LA Rams after signing with the LA Lakers.
