LeBron James drops 3-word reaction on wife Savannah James' skincare interaction with Star Cast kids on podcast
LeBron James’ wife, Savannah James, is known for her skincare routines. She has a brand called SJ Skincare which the NBA superstar proudly introduced on Instagram. The LA Lakers superstar said he has tried and tested the products and encouraged fans to follow.
On Monday, James, in her podcast with Apriel McDonald, had the hosts of “Star Cast: A Kid’s Podcast” on their show. The third season’s first episode began with Anaya and Lyric asking James and McDonald a few questions. They first noted their hosts’ “glowing and popping skins” before inquiring if the “Everybody’s Crazy” podcasters were into skincare.
LeBron James reacted to the exchange on Instagram:
“So damn cute!!!”
McDonald told the guests that she “barely washes" her face some days. James, however, had a different answer. She told the guests:
(9:03 mark)
“I love skincare. ... I kinda get my own skincare that I’m working on so that’s all I’ve been using on my skin. And for you all to say that my skin is ‘popping?’ Well, I’m on to something.
When LeBron James introduced his wife’s skincare products on Instagram, he told fans not to be surprised if his face “starts shining.” The kids didn’t comment about the LA Lakers star’s face but the “popping” skin of Savannah James seemingly caught their attention.
LeBron James’ wife, Savannah James’ “crazy” is that Bronny James in the NBA
LeBron James and his son, Bronny James, created NBA history as the first father-son duo to play together. On Oct. 22, the Jameses took the court against the Minnesota Timberwolves in the LA Lakers’ season-opening game.
In an interview with Bustle, April McDonald asked her co-host, Savannah James, about her “crazy” story. The skincare specialist answered:
“My crazy is that I cannot believe I have a 20-year-old in the NBA. I still feel so young at heart. Every time Bronny comes here and has his little luggage, I’m like, ‘Where you goin?’ It’s crazy! But I’m so happy for him; so happy to [be on the other side of] the journey that we’ve gotten through with him. Every time I see him, I’m just so happy.”
After one season at USC, where he survived a cardiac arrest, Bronny James entered the NBA. The LA Lakers made him the No. 55 in this year’s draft. LeBron James tweeted that he had a "moment" when that happened.
