LeBron James sends heartfelt message to struggling NFL QB

Aside from being one of the greatest players to ever step foot in the NBA, LeBron James is also an avid football fan. He recently took to X and sent some heartfelt words of encouragement for a young NFL quarterback

Following a 26-3 loss to the LA Chargers on Sunday, the Carolina Panthers decided to bench Bryce Young for Andy Dalton. This decision comes just a year after the front office traded a sizable haul to draft him No. 1 overall.

As news of Young's benching made rounds on the internet, LeBron James decided to make a post for him. He said that what happened wasn't his fault and pushed him to keep working on his craft.

As a former No. 1 pick himself, James understands the pressures that come with it. This likely played a part in the Lakers forward posting the motivational message for the QB.

In his rookie season, Young went 2-16 with Carolina. He finished the 2023 campaign with 2,877 passing yards, 11 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. These struggles have unfortunately carried over into his sophomore season.

The Panthers lost their Week 1 matchup against the New Orleans Saints (47-10). Young then threw for just 84 yards in the loss to the Chargers.
