LeBron James offers one-word stamp of approval for Devin Booker's latest 'D Book1' shoe

Los Angeles Lakers ace LeBron James used just one word to approve of Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker's new line of shoes. Booker is signed with the sportswear giant Nike and has his signature shoe line, just like LeBron James and many other players on the USA Men's National Basketball Team.

James posted an Instagram story, promoting Booker's new sneaker. The story featured a video of Bron wearing the latest Brook 1s while the camera panned from right to left.

It was a boomerang video, so the shot loops for a while before the story ends. The Lakers star added a one-word caption, giving his approval to the sneakers.

"Tough!!!! chapter one @dbook," James wrote.

The sneaker featured in the video is the 'Book 1 Python', carrying over the snakeskin theme that Nike has been following in its recent sneakers.

The shoes are still unreleased and not available for the customers to buy. According to Hypebeast, the fans can expect it to drop on the official Nike website on 12 September this year with an effective price tag of $150.

When working on the Book 1 series, Booker had asked the design team at Nike to create a product that followed a similar design language to classic models like Air Force 1 and Blazer.

'Book 1' on release met the expectations of the Suns' star and was a successful product. The latest iteration, however, adds another layer of creativity to the product. It features cream accents throughout its body and laces with a snakeskin pattern all over it.

The tongue of the sneakers holds the engraving "Chapter One" while the pull tab features the number "96" as a resemblance to Devin Booker's birth year.

It also bears Nike's signature Zoom Air cushioning and a full-length Cushlon 2.0 foam for the improved comfort of the user.
