LeBron James reveals Savannah James played NBA 2K with Bronny James in practice mode - "It is super cool"
LA Lakers star LeBron James shared during his team's Media Day that his wife recently took the chance to play NBA 2K25. James shared that Savannah went into practice mode to play as her son, Bronny.
The four-time champion got to film the moment but has yet to share it with the world.
Many are excited to see the first father-son duo in the league. LeBron and Bronny were together during the team's Media Day, where the seasoned veteran shared the story. The older James shared a story about how his son played basketball as a five-year-old in Akron, Ohio.
At one moment, Bronny grabbed a rebound and went coast-to-coast, ending with a made basket. James shared that he looked at Savannah after the play and told her that their son was someone special. In June, their firstborn was drafted by the Lakers and the NBA star brought it up to his wife.
James then shared that he had the chance to film his wife playing the new NBA 2K game as Bronny.
"I have a video on my phone of Savannah playing NBA 2K," James said. "He (Bronny) hasn't seen it. She does not play video games, but she went in practice mode and played with her son. On practice mode, I forgot to post it--I was going to post it for the world, but I have not yet.
"She was playing with Bronny and I said, 'Okay, this is what it takes for you to get on a video game.' It was just super cool."
The Lakers have teased the duo during Media Day. Fans are looking forward to seeing the father-son duo in action for the 2024-25 NBA season.

LeBron James hasn't thought about the 2024-25 season being his last
Entering his 22nd NBA season, more questions about LeBron James' future in the league have emerged. One of the biggest questions is if the next season will be his last.
According to James, he hasn't given it much thought as he's looking forward to playing alongside his son this season.
"I haven't thought about what the future holds, just kind of living in the moment. Especially with Bronny being here, I don’t want to take this moment for granted. This is a moment I’ll enjoy maybe a little bit more," James said.
James has tied Vince Carter with the most number of seasons in the league. What separates him from Carter, however, is that he's still at the top of his game. The four-time MVP is still regarded as one of the best players and will play a significant role in the Lakers' quest to win a title.
