Savannah James gets candid about her thoughts regarding her sons growing up
In the second episode of the second season of the Everybody's Crazy podcast hosted by April McDaniel and Savannah James posted earlier this week, the latter shared her thoughts concerning her sons eventually growing up and building lives of their own.
Savannah was prompted to share her thoughts after a caller talked about living life outside of motherhood once her children had grown up.
Savannah admitted that it was difficult to relinquish her role as a mother as her sons grew older. She shared that she had thought about the fact that one day, Bryce and Bronny James were going to grow older and start families of their own as well, leaving her behind.
According to Savannah, this led to her looking for things that she enjoyed doing and focusing on those things. She emphasized the importance of finding things that made a person happy while also saying that being able to take a step back from the role of a mother in this way will help women appreciate the job they've done in raising their sons.
Currently, her eldest son Bronny is preparing for his maiden season in the NBA as a member of the LA Lakers.
Bronny was selected with the 55th pick of the 2024 NBA Draft, which not only made him and his father LeBron the first father-son duo to play at the same time in the NBA, but it also marks the first time that a duo of this sort is on the same team.
Meanwhile, Bryce is 17 years old and is just one year away from entering college. Should he choose to follow the same path as his father and older brother, he will be eligible to enter the NBA draft as soon as 2026.
