LeBron James and Savannah James are doting parents as they cheer Bronny's Summer League debut from afar
LeBron James and his wife, Savannah James, had one of the greatest days of their lives as parents. Their son, Bronny James, stepped on the floor in the LA Lakers jersey against the Sacramento Kings on Saturday. The Lakers were playing the Kings on the opening night of the Summer League.
Bronny's mother, Savannah, shared the unforgettable moment with her followers on Instagram. She posted a video of watching her son's game on TV.
Bronny's father and LA Lakers superstar LeBron James had joined Team USA to prepare for the Olympics. However, James watched Bronny play, taking some time off the practice. After watching his son's first points in the Lakers jersey, he said:
"Come on man! That's tough. Get loose."
The Lakers have been making a lot of noise surrounding Bronny James' recruitment. It will be a time for him to prove that he got the chance to play in the league because he has earned it.
Skip Bayless says Bronny has better clutch gene than father LeBron James
NBA analyst Skip Bayless has been largely painted as a LeBron James hater. His constant comparison of James with Michael Jordan and the lack of clutch game has been over a decade-long rant against the Lakers star.
Bayless took the clutch criticism against James to a new height when he said Bronny has a better clutch gene than his father.
“I think Bronny will be pretty good,” Bayless said. “I think he’ll become a clutch three-point shooter. I’ve always gotten the feeling that Bronny had a bigger clutch gene than his father does. McDonald’s [High School All-Star] Game he was in the spotlight. They went to him late two or three times and he just nailed threes."
Ever since Bronny’s name was even linked to the NBA draft, Bayless has had nothing but praise for the young player. The analyst has previously praised Bronny James' three-point shooting and his basketball mind, which he gets from his father.
LeBron James and his son have a chance to become the first-ever father-son duo to play in the NBA at the same time. If they share the floor together next season, it will be one of the greatest moments in the NBA.
