LeBron James shares iconic photo featuring Team USA trio moment with KD & Steph in new IG update
The Team USA trio of LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Steph Curry had quite a summer. James, Durant, and Curry joined forces to win the gold medal in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
James updated his profile on the social media platform on Tuesday with a new picture of the iconic trio to remember the summer of 2024.
All three players had a memorable time with Team USA. For James, he became the first player in Olympic history to register two triple-doubles. In their semifinal game against Serbia, the 6-foot-9 forward had 16 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists.
Durant, on the other hand, made history as he surpassed Lisa Leslie as the all-time Olympic leading scorer for both men's and women's national teams. KD now has 518 Olympic points under his name.
For Curry, he set a new Olympic record for the most made 3-pointers in a final game. During their gold medal game against France, he finished with 24 points and made 8-13 shots from beyond the arc.

Which among LeBron James and the other two stars will play at LA 2028?
Fans were given a treat when LeBron James teamed up with Durant and Curry for the 2024 Olympics. This might be the only chance the three legendary players could be on the same team. Which leads to the question, which among them will play for Team USA in 2028?
James is 39 years old and will be 43 by the time the '28 Olympics takes place. After winning the gold medal, the four-time NBA champion shared that he doesn't see himself playing for the national team in Los Angeles.
"Nah, I can't see myself playing in Los Angeles 2028," James said. "I didn't see myself playing in Paris 2024, too. But four years from now, I can't see it."
Durant, meanwhile, is 35 and will be 39 in four years. He hasn't shut down the possibility of playing for the national team.
"As far as 2028, who knows man," Durant said. "We'll see."
The second-oldest of the trio is Curry. He's 36 years old and will be 40 at the next Olympic Games. Like James, the Golden State Warriors star doesn't see himself going for another run with the national team in 2028.
Among the three, it's more likely that Durant might make a return and have his last run with Team USA. But his age will influence his decision.
