LeBron James teases 4-word response on teaming up with Steph Curry in NBA
Over the summer, fans got a treat with LeBron James as he teamed up with Steph Curry at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The two played together for Team USA for the first time in their basketball careers, giving fans what they've always wanted to see. The LA Lakers are set to play the Golden State Warriors twice this week, and James shared his thoughts on being on the same team as Curry.
Their Team USA stint together had been brewing since the team underperformed at the 2023 FIBA World Cup. Since then, the stars have committed to the national team. Because of their teaming up together, the Americans were almost impossible to beat on the international stage.
Ahead of their matchups this week, James shared the once-in-a-lifetime experience of playing with Curry on the same team.
"It was everything and more," James said. "I was super excited to be able to finally team up with him in a win-or-die type atmosphere. Being part of the Olympics, it was everything I dreamed of and aspired to wanna be part of that team along with Steph. Great memories, something that I would remember from my basketball career for the rest of my life."
ESPN's Dave McMenamin asked James if there's ever a chance for them to play for one team again. The four-time champion candidly said this:
"I have no idea."
James and Curry represented Team USA and secured the gold medal for the team. It was the third Olympic gold medal win for the 20-time All-Star while the first Olympic medal for the Warriors star.

LeBron James shared why Team USA was unbeatable in the Olympics
During the Olympics, other teams had difficulty playing against Team USA. While the team was composed mostly of All-Stars, it also had LeBron James, Steph Curry and Kevin Durant. With the firepower that the three produced, there was no stopping them.
James discussed their roster. The Lakers star shared how his team-up with Curry and Durant had made the national team unbeatable.
"How do you lose?" James asked. "We didn't. Shoulda, coulda, woulda. But we didn't. You have myself, KD and Steph, you have that type of firepower at any minute, any moment you seen throughout the whole summer. We all got our opportunities, we saw what Steph did in the gold medal game, you see what he was doing in the semifinals."
"You saw what KD was doing when he came back from his short injury... How do you lose when you have three of the best players to ever play the game of basketball?"
Teams didn't know how to stop the trio as James and Curry wreaked havoc in the starting lineup, while Durant continued the barrage off the bench.
