LeBron James and wife Savannah James drop identical reactions to Bryce James getting "LIT" at Sierra Canyon tip-off event
LeBron James and his wife Savannah James had similar reactions to Bryce James getting "lit" at Sierra Canyon's annual tip-off event on Saturday. Bryce is entering his senior season with the Trailblazers. He has two offers ahead of the 2025-26 college basketball season.
In a post on their Instagram stories, LeBron and Savannah reacted to Bryce dancing on center court for Saturday's event inside the school premises, which featured the students celebrating the start of the season with the boys' and girls' basketball teams, complete with events, food and prize giveaways.
"Bryce James was gettin' LIT at the Sierra Canyon Tip-Off Event," Ballislife wrote on Instagram.
LeBron and Savannah James were proud parents who shared the video on their respective Instagram stories. The couple had a nearly identical caption for their second son enjoying the start of his senior year in high school.
"Ayyyyyyyeeeeeee," LeBron wrote.
"Aaayyyyyeeee!!!" Savannah wrote.
Bryce James played the first two years of high school at Sierra Canyon, teaming up with his older brother Bronny James at one point. Bryce transferred to Campbell Hall School ahead of his junior year before finishing it at Notre Dame High School. He transferred back to Sierra Canyon for his final year.
At the age of 39, LeBron James is still one of the best players in the NBA. His longevity might allow him to play with not just Bronny in the league, but also Bryce, who will likely play college basketball next year. He has offers from Duquesne and Ohio State, and he has been linked with USC, as per 24/7 Sports.
His older brother Bronny played one season with the Trojans before declaring for the NBA draft. He was selected 55th overall by the LA Lakers and made history with LeBron as the first father-son duo to play in the same game.
LeBron James' eldest son currently assigned to the NBA G League
LeBron James and his eldest son Bronny made history on opening night when the LA Lakers defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves. Bronny scored his first two points in his hometown of Cleveland when the Lakers visited the Cavaliers earlier this month.
However, Bronny has not cracked JJ Redick's rotation and was sent to the NBA G League to get some developmental playing time. The team expects that his G League stint with the South Bay Lakers will help him improve his game.
In his first game for South Bay on Saturday, Bronny had six points, three rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block in 31 minutes. He shot 2-for-9, including 0-for-4 from beyond the arc, with five turnovers.
It wasn't the best game for Bronny, but his presence helped South Bay sell out their season-opening contest, with LeBron, Savannah, Zhuri and Gloria James in attendance.
