Since getting drafted into the league, Savannah has expressed her support for her firstborn.

The Lakers selected the youthful James with the 55th choice in the draft. He hasn't had the best output for the team so far, even during the Summer League. However, many expect the point guard to slowly get the hang of the 82-game regular season.

Savannah James and her husband get emotional talking about Bronny's cardiac arrest

The new Netflix docuseries "Starting 5" follows five All-Star players living their lives. The cast includes James, who was followed by a documentary crew last season. In the series, both LeBron and Savannah James got to talk about the cardiac arrest that their son went through.

"I think at the end of the day, it was just about us supporting each other and just being super grateful for the outcome," Savannah said as she held back her tears.
"Shout out to the man, above," James said in the documentary. "To the whole coaching staff, training staff, members of that program, thank you so much. They are the reason Bronny is alive now and smiling and thriving and doing what any 19-year-old should be doing, and that’s living out their dream."

After carefully getting back into shape, Bronny got to play competitive basketball again. Both parents of the Lakers rookie were grateful to see him back on the court, doing what he loves.
