LeBron James' wife Savannah James pokes fun at Team USA superstar while sharing her pet wishlistÂ
Team USA produced a strong showing in their opening match of the Paris 2024 Olympics and LeBron James played a key role in their 110-84 victory over Serbia.
The 20-time NBA All-Star had a near triple-double stat line. However, that didn't stop his wife Savannah James from poking fun at his husband by posting a hilarious image while sharing her pet wishlist.
In 27 minutes of action on the court, the Lakers star put up 21 points (nine-of-13 shooting, including one-of-three from beyond the arc), nine assists and seven rebounds. James was the second-leading scorer on the team following Kevin Durant's electric 23-point performance.
In Savannah James' Instagram stories, she shared a picture of her husband with a puzzled face while including multiple laughing emojis.
Aside from the inclusion of James' picture, the Everybody's Crazy podcast host also gave her followers a glimpse of her pet preferences. It came down to a Russian Blue cat and a European Doberman.
Hilariously, Savannah pointed out that she might not be the only type of person to share her pet preferences on Instagram stories.
Team USA is scheduled to face South Sudan on Wednesday for their second matchup in the Olympics' Group Play.

The four-time NBA Champion has played over 21 seasons in the league and is a career 25.7 points per game scorer (50.6% shooting, including 34.8% from three-point range). Playing in the twilight years of his career, the Lakers star is projected to be in a final Olympics run.
He already has an incredible resume playing for Team USA, with two Olympic gold medals and a bronze. However, before he was named to this year's roster, ESPN's Tim Bontemps reported that he first got approval from his wife to participate in the Summer Olympics.
"LeBron James said once he got clearance from his wife to give up his summer to play for Team USA, he was all in on the experience," Bontemps posted.
Being part of USA Basketball requires dedication from each player on the roster as they will be spending their summer break competing in high-level basketball games.
The last time he played in the Olympics, the four-time MVP put up 13.3 points (60.3% shooting, including 30.0% from beyond the arc), 5.6 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game.
