"'Lemme go holla at that N***o' has lived rent free in my head": Jemele Hill, SZA & more react to Gabrielle Union’s new look
Dwyane Wade's wife Gabrielle Union draws a lot of attention whenever she posts on social media. The 51-year-old actress has amassed a huge fanbase, boasting 21.6 million on Instagram right.
Not only fans but fellow celebrities are in awe as well whenever she makes an appearance on Instagram. Union showed off her new look on social media Saturday night, making a notable reference to the Chicago Sky, a team owned by her husband.
"heading to the court like spalding 😉 #chicagosky" she captioned the post.
She shared four pictures of her new look, a video of her walking in the movie 'Two Can Play That Game' and a video showing details of her change of look.
Journalist Jemele Hill had a reaction to the post, admitting one famous line from the 'Two Can Play That Game' movie lives 'rent-free' in her head, with Union agreeing with her.
Singer SZA reacted to the scene Union posted, claiming that its greatness is not up for debate.
Model Teyana White also chimed in on this post, praising Union's new look.
Fans also had something to say, sharing their thoughts on Union's new look. Her supporters often shower her with praise and this occasion wasn't different.
Union has earned a lot of admiration during her career, starring in multiple 2000s movies that remain relevant to this day (she also starred in Love and Basketball, Bring It On and Bad Boys II).
Gabrielle Union watched Chicago Sky with husband Dwyane Wade on Saturday
It seems like Gabrielle Union had a busy Saturday, as it was full of basketball action. The actress announced she would join her husband Dwyane Wade to the Chicago Sky's home opener against the Connecticut Sun.
"We will be on time and seated! Lets gooooooo," Union wrote on Twitter ahead of the game.
An Instagram post showed Gabrielle Union and Wade with their daughter Kaavia enjoying the game.
Unfortunately, the Sky couldn't beat the Sun and lost 86-82 against the unbeaten team. Following a big win over the New York Liberty, many fans hoped they could keep the momentum and beat the Sun, too.
DeWanna Bonner, DiJonai Carrington and Co. were too much for the Sky, as not even Angel Reese's 13 points and Marina Mabrey's 23 could take their team to the promised land.
