Ally Rossel is a model and social media influencer boasting over 189k followers on Instagram. Ball and Rossel started dating in 2019, however, they reportedly broke up after a few months. The couple reunited a year later and the Bulls star proposed to Rossel in March 2021 in a private ceremony. The two are currently engaged.

Lonzo Ball believes father's Big Baller Brand shoes caused injury

Speaking to ESPN on Thursday, Lonzo Ball said that wearing LaVar Ball's Big Baller Brand shoes may have played a role in his injury-riddled basketball career:

"I was an Adidas kid since high school, so I was thinking that was going to be the route. But what was told to me, I guess, wasn't what really happened. I was told that nobody wanted to partner with me, so my dad was like, 'Just rock the brand.' And I was like, 'All right.'"

The Chicago Bulls guard further highlighted that he wasn't happy with the kicks and that they may have contributed to the first meniscus injury he suffered as a rookie in January 2018.

"They were like kickball shoes," Ball said. "It's possible that those were to blame for the injuries, to be honest. I wasn't getting injured before I started wearing them."

Lonzo Ball made his comeback to the NBA on Nov. 27 against the Orlando Magic, after sitting out for two and a half seasons due to a left knee meniscus and cartilage injury that required three surgeries. He is listed as day-to-day as a precautionary measure and has played only seven games so far in the season, with a wrist injury also playing a part in his limited playing time.
