“Lesalami was lurking” – Fans roast LeBron James for speaking to media in tiny towel

LeBron James found himself trending on social media after he sat down to discuss the team's 121-110 win over the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday in little more than a towel. Not only that, the towel seemed to leave little to the imagination, drawing plenty of hilarious reactions from fans.

Of course, James didn't seem to care about the small towel, laughing and joking with media members after a much-needed win.

“AR always got my back. Always. Even though he loved Kobe back in the day more than me. I forgive him.”

LeBron James and the LA Lakers' playoff run this season

Although the NBA community may not have been as entertained by LeBron James' joke as he was, he had plenty of reasons to be happy after the win. In addition to avenging the team's previous loss to the Chicago Bulls, the win put the Lakers (38-38) back at .500, moving them to eighth place in the Western Conference.

After the game, Anthony Davis spoke on the NBA Interviews YouTube channel to talk about the pair of games played between the two teams recently. Specifically, the back-and-forth trash talk that took place between Patrick Beverley, LeBron James and Austin Reaves.

"The crowd was into it, too. Having Pat Bev on here was obviously awesome. That’s what he do. He was talking (on) Sunday (in the Bulls' 118-108 win), and we came out and made sure that he don’t talk tonight. But it’s all love when we battling. He's awesome, obviously, have a great relationship.
"So, it was funny. He did it to Bron, and so Austin got some good back for Bron. So, we love to see it.”

With an incredibly close race in the West, the Lakers find themselves ahead of the New Orleans Pelicans (38-38) and the OKC Thunder (38-39). Sitting just half-a-game ahead of the Lakers are the Minnesota Timberwolves (39-38).

With the sixth-place Golden State Warriors (40-37) a game-and-a-half ahead in the standings, time is running out for LA to stave off the play-in tournament.

According to Tankathon's strength of schedule calculator, the Lakers are in a great position to punch their ticket to the playoffs. With one of the easiest remaining schedules in the league, the team will continue to fight for an easy road in the play-in tournament.

The team has just six remaining games, with a pivotal game against the Minnesota Timberwolves on tap for Friday.
