"Let's go Baby Z" - LeBron James and wife Savannah have daughter Zhuri’s back ahead of her sporting journey
Earlier this year, LeBron James got to make history as he played in an NBA game alongside his oldest son. Now, the 20-time All-Star is supporting another one of his children as they begin their own journey in the world of sports.
When it comes to his sons, Bronny and Bryce James have followed their father's footsteps in the world of basketball. However, it appears his daughter is going down a different avenue. Zhuri James still has aspirations of being an athlete, but on the volleyball court instead of the hardwood.
On Friday afternoon, LeBron James posted a series of photos of Zhuri in her volleyball attire on his Instagram. In the caption, he showed endless support for his daughter as she begins this new phase of her life.
"YOU GO GIRL!!!!!! @allthingszhuri LET'S GO BABY Z!! Best of luck this season and GO CRAZY!!"
Zhuri is the third and youngest child of LeBron and Savannah James. Earlier this year, the only daughter of the LA Lakers star celebrated her 10th birthday.
As for LeBron, he is back with the Lakers after missing a handful of games due to personal reasons. Ahead of his 40th birthday, he is posting averages of 22.6 points, 7.9 rebounds and 9.0 assists.
LeBron James' wife Savannah also makes post for daughter Zhuri
LeBron James was not the only one caught up in Zhuri beginning her sports journey. Savannah James also made a post for her daughter ahead of this new experience.
Sacannah re-shared LeBron's post on her Instagram story with a series of emojis to show her excitement.
It is not shocking that Savannah and LeBron James' kids have all become athletes given who their parents are. As we know, their father has cemented himself as one of the best players in NBA history. On top of that, Savannah was an athlete herself back in the day. When she and LeBron first met in high school, she played softball and was a cheerleader.
For most of their time together, Savannah has preferred to not fully be in the spotlight alongside her husband. Being a mother has always been a top priority and something she has done well. That said, over the past year we've slowly started to see Savannah share more with the world.
Earlier this year, Savannah decided to break into the world of podcasting. She hosts the Everybody's Crazy podcast alongside her friend April McDaniel, where they give advice on an array of subjects.
